No matter where you are in life, love portraits are an endangered tradition. Most of us have a million selfies and no real photos, something that might be fine for now, but what about the future? Few phone pics are good enough to print out and put on the wall. 40 years from now, will you even have them still? Or might they be lost in an outdated or damage device? Never before have we taken so many pictures but it’s unlikely that any of them ever reaches the wall in your home.
Why not take a moment of your time and book a portrait session, so that you’re sure to have photographs of this amazing time of your life. Most of my clients are capturing proposals, celebrating anniversaries or just happens to be on holiday together on the beautiful Island of Gotland. A portrait session is a fun activity and a cosy memory as well as an investment for the future. The photos will be yours to print on a mug for your office, a canvas for your wall or as a print in a pretty frame on your bedside table. Life is too short and love is the most precious thing. Do not forget to treasure it.

Option 1. PROPOSAL. You are going to propose.
The ring is waiting in its box and you are looking for the right moment to pop the question. Don’t just ask it over the morning coffee! make it as memorable as possible. It doesn’t have to be expensive to be romantic. A walk on the beach, in a nice restaurant or on a spot precious to either of you might be all it takes to create a moment that will be remembered for a lifetime. I will be there to capture it, hiding or visible acting as a tourist, a bird watcher, a journalist or something else, depending on your plan. You dress up and we decide on a signal, and I will capture the moment “secretly“ before stepping forward. We will have a little celebration and portrait session before you head off to celebrate the rest of the evening on your own. (Check out How They Asked for inspiration!)
Option 2. LOVE PORTRAITS
It might have been a breakfast discussion to get married, as is very usual in Sweden, but that doesn’t mean the event can’t be romantic. Celebrate your decision with a portraits session, a fun way to get pretty photos. We decide on a good time and you dress in clothes you like, maybe you’ll bring a few options to change between. It will be a fun and romantic experience in a beautiful setting.

Destination portraits
Session duration 1h
Maybe you’ve already said yes, or you’ve eloped and didn’t hire a photographer. Maybe you have been together for a long time and want to celebrate an anniversary. Choose to skip capturing the ceremony and book a normal portrait session instead (it’s a lot cheaper to say one thing). Escape with me to a magical spot to capture photos without the stress of waiting friends or family, without feeling like you’re missing the big party. We’ll choose a day and time when the light is at its best, maybe even the sunset. You wear whatever you want, your finery, wedding wear or something unique to you. You can bring a few changes and we’ll have a good time.

“Trash the dress”

Gifte ni er för ett tag sedan och har en bröllopsklänning ni aldrig mer kommer att använda? Men inte känner för/kan att spara men som på grund av t ex vinfläckar inte går att sälja? Eller vill ni bara ha extremt roligt och ta häftiga bilder tillsammans? En sjukt rolig upplevelse är det amerikanska påfundet “trash the dress“! Oftast innebär det att man fotograferar i vatten eller i strandkanten, men det kan också vara i en potentiellt smutsig miljö. Man tar helt enkelt bilderna man inte vågade ta på själva bröllopet, då man inte ville riskera att smutsa ner klänningarna eller inte kunde gå ut i naturen i de skorna. En underbar upplevelse, och man måste inte ha sin brudklänning. En vit klänning blir alltid mer dramatisk i bilder, men det går så klart bra med vilken “finare” klänning som helst.
